Comment je suis devenu super-héros

Les Français sont l'un des rares peuples à pouvoir faire dans tous les genres, mais dans le cas présent, le film de super-héros n'a pas très bien fonctionné. Le problème principal est qu'il s'agit d'un film multigenre et qu'aucun des genres ne fonctionne bien, ni seul ni en combinaison avec les autres. Les créateurs du film auraient dû se décider entre la comédie, voire la parodie, ou alors le polar plus sombre ou le drame qui représente la variante la plus difficile. Au lieu de ça, ils ont tout mélangé et ont sorti un mishmash qui ennuie et agace le spectateur. Et pour moi, même Leïla n'a pas sauvé la mise cette fois-ci. (11/12/2021)

The immaturity of the director and screenwriter is very evident in the film – you can tell the difference between these "newbies" and seasoned Hollywood. How I Became a Super Hero is strikingly similar to Project Power: a pill that gives superpowers is found in a city and a bunch of detectives jump on the case. The problem is that we as the audience are thrown into a superhero world without the slightest attempt at an introduction, so we don't know why it's happening, who has powers and who doesn't, what exactly anyone can do, and we have no information about the sauce around it. On the one hand, the film feels terribly rushed as it doesn't explain much and moves along, but it feels just as terribly draggy and slow as nothing of substance happens for much of the time, and, aside from the occasional action sequence, we don't really see anything major. The visuals are pretty okay, the acting is average, the writing is weak, and within the superhero genre the film doesn't give us anything that we as viewers crave. It does have some class, but unfortunately it's still a flop. Better to watch the dvdrip of Black Widow, which is already available to download :P (11/07/2021)
