Les années quatre-vingt-dix, le sommet de la collaboration entre Spielberg / Zemeckis... Extrêmement amusant, original, intelligent, cultivé, avec des jokes délicates et des idées profondes. Un film qui ne fait pas honte aux termes "popcorn" ou "(ultra)happyend". Pourquoi ne les fait-on plus comme ça aujourd'hui ? Pourquoi vivons-nous dans une époque si déprimante ? Si je n'avais pas été touché par des films jusqu'à présent et l'aurais évalué à l'époque de sa création, je lui donnerais 5 étoiles. (03/11/2008)

Une téléportation instantanée dans les années quatre-vingt. Un film impeccable qui nous fait toujours passer un excellent moment. Un film sur des retours qu’il est bon de retourner voir de temps en temps. Un film de plus que je vois enfin au grand écran. [KVIFF 2022] (23/07/2022)

One great thing has happened to me with this review, and I might be the only one among you. I am evaluating without any emotion, as it is only now that I have seen this film – in 2011. So no nostalgia. This film is very silly. If someone were to make something like this today, they would be crucified. Even Pirates of the Caribbean, silly as it is, is a little bit better than this (and it is also nonsense, by the way). (14/08/2011)

Had I seen it for the first time in my teenage years when I enjoyed similar stories, I would probably give it a definite five stars. Unfortunately, I watched Zemeckis' legendary sci-fi for the first time last week, which killed a bit of my enthusiasm. The story is very entertaining, some of the gags and situations are very nice, but I don’t really care for the "teenage spirit" and the unmistakable aesthetics of the 80's. Both of the title characters are really good, and the game with the influence of past actions on future things is also fun. This is a very successful hybrid with a great idea and a quality script. It's been almost thirty years, but this sci-fi adventure comedy still holds its place among the genre's elite, and there's no sign of that changing. After all, it's not every day that such an original, entertaining and perfectly thought-out script is born in the minds of screenwriters, even under the guidance of directorial wizards like Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg. Just great, I can't but praise it. The visuals are stunning even after all these years, the unravelling of the story is simply flawless, and the duo of M.J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd were probably born for this legendary three-part series, and the way the creators dealt with the bar they set for the second part is truly incredible. 100% (29/09/2012)
