Les Mômes de l'Apocalypse

A well-made film adaptation of a great book. The problem is that while the appropriate form of a short feature film was chosen for the first book (and thus even some adults' inner child may enjoy it without remorse thanks to its pace, playfulness and references), the other books are adapted in the form of ten-episode seasons. But all those books have basically the same scope. Because of that, from the second season on, it is full of padding. However, if you read the books to your children (or they are already reading them without you), then they will undoubtedly love the animated form. And that's understandable, because this adventure full of mischief, danger and comradery without adults captures it very well and all of the children are nice. (18/10/2020)
