anglais There is really not much to argue about here, this is still a terribly entertaining and charming show where everyone gets what they deserve. At the same time, this anime series is full of thrilling and dramatic moments that I thoroughly enjoyed, and battles that were suitably epic, colorful, and intense... The start of this season was a bit slower, however, the irritating kids from the first season are thankfully absent. There was a moment when I was a bit concerned for the main male protagonist and his crew, which was actually quite nice. The finále of the first half of the season, and I found the whole Megiddo thing, plus everything around it really intriguing too. I did get a bit preoccupied with the moral side of things, however, I got over it in the end, with a calm "all is permitted in love and war". In the second half of the season, it is very satisfying when Rimuru finally strikes back, and I am now able to cheer for the main male protagonist again - I thoroughly enjoyed the whole damn thing... In the end, I am very satisfied. I am looking forward to the next installment because there is a lot more to these weird clowns than I would have expected, and the narrative still has a lot to offer. I am not going to make this review any longer, the show is awarded a clear five stars, and it is even a hair better than the first season because this was a very intense arc, a decent contrast to the cute if a bit boring The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (although it is actually strangely complementary anyway) and that is how I like it. 9.5/10.
