There is a vicious and insidious Lolita girl who fights in war! I like that combination a lot. Well, add to that the fact of what the Lolita girl is hiding, what she is really like inside, then it actually becomes quite amusing. I have always enjoyed narratives that feature the main protagonist, who is not exactly a paragon of virtue. This is why I enjoyed the anime series Overlord so much, for example. Sure, this is practically just for effect, and it is supposed to be cool because of all the fighting and the tough, cruel main female protagonist. It is like I took Drifters and spliced it with Izetta: The Last Witch, and then I cherry-picked the supposedly cool ideas from them, made the animation much better, and added an epic soundtrack. However, does any of that really matter if the result works for me? I guess not! So anyway, I think this works, I am enjoying it, and I am also looking forward to watching each episode. I have grown to like the main protagonist, plus the slightly clumsy Viktoriya, and I like their battalion in general. So, even though I know it is a low-key show aimed primarily at people who want action, I still have to give it a very good rating because it is right up my street and is what I think makes a good show. 8.4/10.
