Season 1 (2016) (S01)
After seeing the poster for the series, I thought this would be great. The reviews have confirmed that for me. The first season convinced us that we have something special here, even if it's not inherently revelatory. The series has a great retro style, well-chosen actors (especially the child characters), absolutely stunning music, and horror moments that will get to you. I can't wait for the second season, although I'm a little worried about where it will go.

Season 2 (2017) (S02)
I found the second season a bit weaker than the first, but I have to admit that it's still very good and I enjoyed the last episode. The retro feel has faded a bit, which I thought was a shame, but there were a few bright moments. Some of the plot digressions seemed almost unnecessary, but you'll end up liking the characters anyway.

Season 3 (2019) (S03)
I think the third season of Stranger Things is a bit of an embarrassment. The incredibly cool girl with great powers is barely featured, preferring to focus on other not-so-interesting teenagers with weird haircuts and one supposedly amusing love story. At least the soundtrack and actors are still great, although plot-wise, it is not as charming as previous seasons.
