anglais I didn’t even know SpongeBob until very recently. But then I watched the first movie that completely blew my mind. And we know how it usually goes with sequels, so I was ready for anything at all. In the end, I got a similar portion of craziness like in the first movie. And I really loved the second half of the movie that connected the cartoon characters and the real world. At that point, I thought that each scene was an absolute blast, but the cotton candy was the absolute top of it all; all while illuminati dolphin were all I had before. SpongeBob’s brain full of candy was also amazing. If I were high while I watched this, it would be my favorite movie ever. A genius combination for kids, but also for adults. ()

anglais This must have been written by a bunch of smacked-out junkies. Action-packed craziness about the importance of hamburgers for civilization. The movie has everything: Banderas as an evil pirate, a time machine, superheroes and even a giant squirrel. Weirdly, everything fits together well. The bizarre message that the team will always blame you for everything is a bit surprising. ()

anglais So I waited and even SpongeBob SquarePants managed to disappoint me. I quite like an absurd and crazy sense of humor, but there was not a lot of it here. Sure there were a few good jokes, like when Plankton had to put Patrick to sleep with a fairy tale, or SpongeBob claimed that Patrick was a valid member of the team because he was loyal. In general, however, I was only occasionally amused, which is not good for a SpongeBob SquarePants movie. Even the story did not have the enthusiasm of, say, the previous movie or the TV series, and the bit on the land had terrible 3D animation, which did not suit the movie. Sure it was nice to have Antonio Banderas play one of the characters, although honestly, David Hasselhoff's five minutes in the role of a lifetime in the first movie put Burger Beard in the shade with ease. There was not even a crazy song (like The Goofy Goober Song (I'm a Goofy Goober, Yeah!)) or a moment that drew me in or dazzled me in any powerful way. So to sum it up, this is definitely the weakest offering from Bikini Bottom so far, for which it earned only an average rating from me for the first time because this is not worth any more than a 5/10, in my opinion, even for die-hard fans. anglais I know Spongebob only vaguely from the animated TV series, so I went to the movie out of boredom and by chance. Well, I have to say that it was really crazy at times, in the sense that I was like "What?! – WTF?!", but that's not meant in a negative way. I liked that it switched between live action, computer animation and cartoon format, so the film didn't feel so monotonous. Antonio Banderas made a complete fool of himself at times, but it didn’t matter (what he wouldn't do for kids). All in all, a very unpretentious film where you can turn off your brain - Spongebob doesn't use it either (if he has one, being a sea sponge). ()

anglais The series is unknown to me, or rather I have only seen one episode, and not even the whole thing. The humor in the film seemed very peculiar to me, and I think there are many things that children cannot understand. And there are also many things that adults will not find amusing. And yet, for some miraculous reason, it still works. Some jokes are so beautifully absurd that you simply can't help but laugh. ()
