Among the strange and dangerous mysteries in Ikebukuro one stands out: the urban myth of the Black Rider. Known as a headless monster known to roam the streets on the back of a motorcycle. High School student Mikado Ryugamine moves to this downtown area of Tokyo, eager to experience the wonders of the big city. With best friend Masaomi as his guide, Mikado soon finds that witnessing the Black Rider was merely the beginning of a kaleidoscope of crazy encounters beyond his wildest dreams. (Anime Ltd)

Durarara!! (2010)

anglais The first few episodes not so much, but after that you can't shake the suspense – well, I couldn't (until the penultimate episode). When Omori and Narita come together, it's worth it; Baccano! alone is proof of that. And the same applies here as with the aforementioned work – it has no ending, no beginning, no main character, yet it manages to completely engross you. And there is one more thing reminiscent of Baccano!: you watch it once, like it, then watch it a second time and it's even better. I got goosebumps with some of the episodes, and sometimes I felt such suspense I almost fled to the neighbors. This anime really got me. The characters (easily embedded in your memory, for me even easier than with Baccano!, but maybe that's because it's longer) are great (10/10), ditto the story, and I can only feel sorry for everyone who haven't seen it yet. Because they’re missing two great opening sequences, one good ending sequence, and a second ending sequence that didn't so much appeal to me but would to some. ()
