anglais At the time of its premiere, this served as a fond reminiscence of the recently finished new prequel trilogy; during the second viewing, which took place more or less at random about fifteen years later, it was much worse. The animation has not aged well, the development of familiar characters is limited by what we know about their present, future, and side intentions, and the first three quarters of the film are continuous, repetitive action. Between the constant shooting, jumping, flying, and falling, there is no time to catch a breath, and when the gloomy enemies meet for the umpteenth time and both leave alive and uninjured after a several-minute-long fight, I almost dozed off out of exhaustion. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an endless source of stories, but this point of entry remains closed to me so far. ()

anglais It wasn’t as awful as I was expecting, in fact I wasn’t bored for a minute, but this reworking of Star Wars really isn’t very pretty. What I would have given to see the fights in “real life". Little Jabba was quite funny and kids will certainly enjoy this series. Personally, I would rather wait for the classic one that is meant to be about Bob Fett. ()

anglais Well, this is a really ugly animation. Considering that it was made by George Lucas' studio, from which one would expect a bit more polished visual effects, this is quite horrifying. Besides the fact that the movements are sometimes oddly choppy, the rendered faces are simply unpleasant. This is a typical cash grab that the studio is trying to cash in on. Yes, it's nice that it's set in the Star Wars universe and it's authorized, but that's about it. I love Star Wars, but not in animated form. ()
