anglais It looks like somebody was real pissed that Mike Bay wouldn’t do Transformers for them. ;-) Bruckheimer knows exactly what the audience wants these days and so he packed it all into G-Force. There’s always something happening, wisecracks, shooting and chasing all centered around a gang of guinea pigs or hamsters or whatever they were. A very high 3 and definitely movie of the year for younger kids. I’ve hear coffee’s bad for you, but this is ridiculous! ()

anglais It is nothing exceptional, but a relatively well-done spectacle, which aims to entertain children and adults alike. I don't know about the kids, but it amused me. The variation on the classic action spectacle schemes worked well, the digital animal spies are done very nicely and thanks to the dubbing (Sam Rockwell and Penelope Cruz especially) they are also sympathetic, the action scenes are shot with clarity, and for example the chase with the FBI cars can be envied by many. There are also quite funny lines (many of them are allusions to adult films), which are unfortunately balanced by infantile "fart" humor, the cool speech of one of the agents (dubbed by Tracy Morgan, how I hate him) and monstrosities like the final dance. The human actors aren't really worth commenting on, the only one who stands out is Bill Nighy, and he still stands out just by virtue of being Bill Nighy. It didn't offend. ()
