Pour une femme obsédée par sa notoriété sur les médias sociaux, se faire inviter à un mariage huppé représente une aubaine inespérée. Mais c'était sans compter le voyage. (Netflix)

anglais Hypocrisy (1*) with a mannered American sweet smile on his lips (2*) made through social "InstaSnapTinder" (and Home Improvement; 4*) ad absurdum. In any case, transferring Brooker (5*) under the wings of Netflix (4*) and overseas (3 *) caused absolutely no harm. It is still chillingly up-to-date, apt, satirical, critical, with detached view and worthy of reflection. Only this time it lacks a driving force... Um, actually it lacks five stars, because approximately in the middle it’s only playing with completely the same only in more ways, although Howard handles shy "quaternary" mode brilliantly, but she tends to obviously overplay the tense "secondary" one. anglais On paper, everything looked like a turning point in my perception of the entire series. An appealing and perhaps the most topical subject matter, starring my beloved Bryce Dallas Howard, the appealing James Norton as her brother, the reliable Joe Wright behind the camera – and yet I remain disappointed. I don't like stories where the main character is punished for mistakes they didn't make and as a result, is dragged into an increasingly repugnant quagmire. Instead of being an unforgettable spectacle, Nosedive leaves only a feeling of permanent frustration. ()

anglais A total horror that rivals the scariest thing ever made, combined with black comedy? Why not. It's a perfectly nasty vision of a future that may be just a small step away for all of us. And maybe we're already living it. Either way, Bryce Dallas Howard is absolutely terrific under Joe Wright's reliable direction. ()
