The seventies saw Santo at the top of his game, bringing a harvest of absurdities. In this particular movie the legendary luchador joins forces with a real-life boxing champion José Ángel Nápoles (a.k.a. Mantequilla „Butter“ Nápoles) to break the curse of the evil Crying Woman. Needless to say the make-up and special effects are relentlessly amateurish, but some of the dialogue would make even Luis Buñuel proud. (The Shockproof Film Festival)

Pour moi, c’est le plus jubilatoire des films avec El Santo. Un véritable hit-parade de naïveté puérile. Un navet de genre dont le jeu de tous les participants est délicieusement rigide. Autrement dit, un spectacle horrifique en carton-pâte pour toute la famille ! [FOD 2022]
