What Lies Below

A not a very interesting thriller. It may entertain women, but for me it's too tame and ordinary. A 16-year-old girl returns home from camp and learns that her mother has found a new boyfriend who seems perfect at first glance, but something about him just doesn't add up. Overall, it's decently produced, the acting is also decent, but in all genre aspects, the film seems uninteresting. It's not suspenseful or brutal, it doesn't come with any clever twists, and it also suffers from a slow pace. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy it much, but the mother and daughter were at least nice to look at.
