anglais Sometimes it’s an almost literal transcription of The Incredible Shrinking Man, but with a comedic tone and, when it comes to the work with the shrinking protagonist in her natural environment, it has only one original and funny scene. Most of it is an awful and pointless borefest that is partially held above water by the likeable Charles Grodin. Why the hell do they waste such an enticing premise like shrinking on such cheap grotesque? ()

anglais A cleverly hidden emancipatory queer film. Unfortunately it's as howling as a gypsy funeral and buried under tons of small-town props from the late 70s and early 80s. I know it's all deliberately part of the concept, but when something stirs up heavy animosity in you, even the sacred hairspray won't help. ()
