Double World

A pretty enjoyable Chinese fantasy film from the talented Teddy Chan. A military leader announces a contest for the best fighter, and it's surprisingly entertaining, slightly gory and even the CGI isn't too bad for Chinese standards. The scorpions and the dog crossed with a bear had something going for them and the action is decently shot within the genre, but nothing that outright impressed me. An inoffensive one-off.
