Cette pâle copie de Creepshow est un film de catégorie C avec une réalisation technique amatrice et des performances d'acteurs ridicules. Les fans du genre seront cependant ravis par Gunnar Hansen (le Leatherface original de 1974) dans le rôle principal d'un gardien de prison et par Debbie Rochon, une prisonnière séduisante, qui lui lit ses histoires. Malheureusement, il ne se passe rien entre eux de ce que le spectateur aurait voulu.
