I don't know, maybe the creators managed to fool me with their constant repetition, but in the case of the third episode, I had a feeling that I was actually enjoying it. It was probably unexpectedly complex (yes, I mean that it wasn't just a cycle of party-death-party-death......) and mainly because of the ending, which does promise some sort of progression in the story.
