I gave this romance four stars. Especially because it had Mel Gibson in a sort of movie that I haven’t seen him in yet, and after a long time, too. It’s actually one of the reasons I like Mel so much and his character was really good in this movie. It was sufficiently natural, but it could be realistic in the future, too. And the whole thing was carried out in a very positive atmosphere, which was exactly what I needed before my final state exams.

A very nice combination of romance and slightly naive science fiction. Mel Gibson is traditionally great, and little Elijah Wood is funny. Plus, it's one of my mom's favorite movies and that affects you too. 75%
