Kacugeki: Tóken ranbu

Ufotable animation studio managed to serve up a visually captivating production again, and when there is fighting, it is quite good to watch. Still, I cannot help but find it utterly boring, completely uninteresting given the subject matter, and out of all the gentlemen, I cannot choose who I am less interested in. I was expecting some dramatic scenes, some elaboration of ideas about changes in the past and how it will affect the present, the future, or just something at least. However, all I got was a bunch of uninteresting bishies wandering around the world, running into some enemies in every episode so they can have a fight, and otherwise just talking about absolutely nothing. If only these gentlemen were at least likable personalities like the gang in Saiyuki Reload Blast; however, these just bore me. Anyway, I am not enjoying it, and even worse, I am annoyed that such animation potential was wasted on such boring crap. Dropped in the middle of the fourth episode and 4/10 - mostly for the animation. (23/07/2017)
