anglais While I didn't think it could live up to the first film, the story overall was pretty interesting and quite wacky, plus there are characters that are just great, especially because of how they were played by great British or Irish actors. In places it's beautiful to look at, and it's entertaining but also touching when it needs to be. ()

anglais A British feel-good movie that, unlike the first, doesn't feel so shoddy and outrageously entertains by parodying various genre tropes, the best of which is definitely the jailbreak with a perfect Brendan Gleeson and the final train chase, which has both pace and ingenuity. It could have been much funnier and more daring, but Matthew Vaughn is simply one of a kind on the Isles. That said, in terms of direction and acting, this is a great sequel. ()

anglais The second Paddington was as good as the first one and I was quite satisfied. It’s just that you could tell the creators focused mainly on the child audience. But I still managed to have a decent time. I enjoyed Brendan Gleeson’s performance, and even Richard Ayoade’s cameo, but despite my satisfaction I hope that there won’t be another sequel. I think the quality would go down rapidly. ()

anglais Worse than the first movie by exactly one bear hair´s breadth. Mainly due to the unnecessary need for a magnificent action finale à la The Lone Ranger (after all, allusions to it are seen throughout the whole movie), which is undoubtedly good and properly exciting, but it is not suitable for this type of film in terms of style. Otherwise, it´s the completely the same as the first movie, which I don´t mean as an offense this time, but on the contrary as the best possible praise. Because it´s truth about Paddington's escapades, even for the second time, that they are the purest essence of a nice, funny, playful and passionately shot and played family film, which really is for the whole family regardless of (not only) age. And that is something that is seen quite rarely, especially with regard to the countless movies that are labeled as "family films". ()
