Depuis la nuit des temps, le Japon a perpétué la tradition des douze signes du Zodiaque. Les filles du Zodiaque sont les messagères de ces signes. Ces êtres mi-humains mi-animaux font le lien entre les hommes et les divinités. Tous les soixante ans, le tournoi ETM 12 se déroule dans le quartier d’Akihabara, à Tokyo. Originally, I had high hopes for Etotama; I thought it would be cute, original, and witty. However, although I was impressed by the chibi style, I realized that I was once again cruelly mistaken. It looks like the narrative is quite insane, but unfortunately, I did not think it was insane in a good way. The characters were more weird than cute, and the comedy in the first episode seemed clichéd and based on tropes. Plus, the insane chibi during the fight scenes was very off-putting. Nya-tan is quite nice to look at, although her character was unbearably annoying. Perhaps it is just me, but the first episode of this anime did not do it for me, even though I consider myself a fan of cute things. So I guess I will not be watching it again.
