The oversensitive conclusion and the approximately twentieth breakup between Liv and Major slightly ruined the impression of the episode for me, but I generously decided to overlook it because Liv stabbed a funny brain and I also enjoyed Angus' (un)holy campaign against impending starvation. So yeah, as a relaxing entertainment for a calm afternoon, it worked.
