Charismatic main hero, attractive female character, unpredictable guide, and above all, spectacular chases and battles with mythical enemies. However, Jubei doesn't offer us anything more, even less so an iconic masterpiece that should rank dangerously close to the top of anime cults. Although I happily immersed myself in the atmosphere, I miss some emotions, something tangible enough to make Ninja Scroll an unforgettable spectacle. And the agonizing confessions of feelings after a day spent together don't suffice for that. 75%
