Saturday Morning Mystery

In their own version of the Mystery Machine a quartet of young sleuths travel the countryside debunking reports of supernatural activity and poltergeist plagued decrepit houses. But with their funding running dry the group – Nancy, Floyd, Gwen and Chad – accepts a case involving disappearances and rumoured murders at an abandoned former schoolhouse. Unperturbed by the warning signs they decide to camp overnight in order to expose the charade. Each character shares parallels to Velma, Shaggy, Daphne and Fred, with the latter two versions recovering from a recent infidelity, this is a grown-up, whacked out, hilarious alternative world to the cartoon crew if they'd smoked lots of pot in college and become long ago jaded by the pranks and lame mysteries they have had to solve.
