An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe repose plus ou moins entièrement sur la présence vocale et visuelle du charismatique Vincent Price, tandis que celui-ci récite une sélection de quatre contes issus de la plume du maître américain de l’horreur. Price est tout simplement né pour le genre horreur gothique et je ne peux pas m’imaginer de meilleur choix pour la déclamation des œuvres de Poe.

The film An Evening of Edgar Allan Poe isn't about being a horror that scares you, but rather about showcasing the mastery of a great actor who can captivate you with his performance. Vincent Price is simply a legend, and I'm glad I came across this film because it proves that he is so strong that he can carry an entire hour all by himself, and you'll walk away with an interesting and unique experience. He must have been amazing in the theater. Too bad the film isn't longer.
