De manière sanglante. Un croisement ordinaire, sans rien d'exceptionnel, entre Le Projet Blair Witch et Cube, rehaussé par une bande-son dynamique. The Hole se contente mécaniquement de varier les clichés déjà vus cent fois.

The British production The Hole is a thriller that pleases fans by turning into more of a horror movie towards the end. Viewers may not even care what really happened to the characters. However, despite that The Hole is a bit predictable. From a screenwriting standpoint, it is good at maintaining the suspense, although it does not really solve the mystery to bring it to a satisfying conclusion.
