Yellowstone is a park, but it's also the deadliest volcano on Earth. Beneath it, a sleeping 'dragon' is stirring. When an earthquake opens a crack for magma to seep through, other warning signs of an eruption start popping up, but they are ignored or dismissed as 'minor'. But when they learn an eruption will happen, panic breaks out through people of the USA and the world. But yes, I had a good time. The question, however, is whether the document should aim primarily to provide information... This matter is already very far from the classic concept of a document, and I wouldn't even think of using the term "document" in connection with "Supervolcano". The film features exclusively fictional characters and the story takes place in the near future, so it's more like a science fiction in the style of "what would happen if...", portrayed as a disaster movie. The TV project has a decent budget, quality effects, and a decent atmosphere. On the other hand, it has a long duration and only average acting performances. Overall impression 70%.
