Sisters Brigitte and Ginger find themselves stuck in the wilderness of 19th century Canada. They find refuge in a traders' fort, where they're surrounded by an eclectic group of near insane explorers and traders. The girls' sanctuary turns terrifying when the fort comes under attack by savage werewolves. A mysterious Indian hunter may be the girls' only hope against the beasts, but complications ensue when one of the girls is bitten by a werewolf. (texte officiel du distributeur)

The Canadian prequel Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning is one of those movies that I wish I had not wasted my time on. In terms of historical accuracy, I think it was pretty good, although I was not interested in the origins thing. I liked the way the werewolf sisters were conceived in the first movie Ginger Snaps.
