Michaël, est un adolescent de 16 ans, fan de jeu vidéo. Un jour, il reçoit le jeu Brainscan, qui promet "une expérience inédite en matière d'épouvante", son genre de jeu préféré. A very pleasant surprise. I don’t know why, but I was expecting some semi-amateur trash and instead, I got a nice 1980s B-movie. Sure, it’s undemanding horror for kids, utterly harmless… there isn’t any “pure horror” atmosphere to speak of… but I still enjoyed it a lot. In short, a genre break that should not offend anyone. The protagonist (a young Furlong) is likeable and so is the antagonist, the Trickster (thought it could have been nastier, it’s a funny clown :D).
