anglais Very childish, but also incredibly brilliant and original entertainment that it’s impossible not to love. The characters are all great, the pacing is thrilling and the excellent original premise is developed so precisely that there is no question of untapped potential (on the contrary, the filmmakers repeatedly surprised me with ideas that developed the story in rather unpredictable ways). Plus a truly fantastic Czech dubbing. 90% ()

anglais An enchanting animated movie with a great story and great animation. Monsters, Inc. is intended exclusively for kids, but that makes it all the more magical and funny, unlike Shrek which goes way over the top in places. The whole idea about the doors is absolute genius and the final chase “between worlds" has perfect momentum and is delightfully done. The nicest character of the entire monster world is without a doubt Mike “Cyclops" Wazowski who has become a type of symbol of a good time. ()

anglais Funny story, lots of ideas, a snowman with lemon ice cream, incredibly cute Boo, slimy Randall, sweetly touching final scene, and one of the highlights that Pixar has managed to produce. The best fairy tales are always created where no one has dared to go yet. In a world of monsters that aren't so scary and where you're never sure where each door leads and who is waiting behind them.
