anglais I am working hard now so I can then give up work, and I am trying to maintain a lifestyle without ever having to work again... Ninomiya is a typical bastard, of which there are many in the world, who pursues his own selfish desires and does not even consider the consequences. He is up against a greedy corporation that mercilessly exploits and abuses its employees, which has another ruthless and heartless Director just trying to take advantage and determined to achieve her goals. It is quite a life, however, what could be worse? Who am I supposed to be rooting for here? Probably the main male protagonist, who is not all that bad, he just gives the impression he is incredibly tenacious and cunning - so I do not have to like him, I just have to appreciate how worldly and hardened he is. In all seriousness, sometimes it works, however, not often enough for me to really enjoy it. I also expected the fight with the corporate culture and the finále itself to be much more subtle, though I am glad it was all done in the corporate way and not in a supernatural fantasy (swords, fight and magic) style. However, this show was just not as entertaining as I had expected it to be. I did smile occasionally, now and then some ideas caught my attention, however, I thought it just did not really work as a comedy. Sure, it was probably meant to be more of an allegory or a parody of the business world and its strict rules, however, it was somehow not even half as interesting as I expected it to be. So I am now faced with the question of whether I would be interested in the continuation and further journey of the main male protagonist and his, in my opinion, a not-so-remarkable ensemble which has not really lived up to its potential in his world, and only two words come to mind as an answer - Not really. I thought this was a poor average... 4.5/10. ()
