During the freedom fight led by Rákóczi, Schwartzenau carries the wages of the Emperor's soldiers to Tokaj. A small group of freedom-fighters, led by Captain Árvay, attack the major's escort, then hide in the local inn. Árvay introduces himself to the entering Schartzenau as a Hungarian aristocrat, while Simon Pali rushes to get help. The major has a passion for games, they start throwing dice. Schartzenau screws the stake higher and higher, while Árvay is supported by the inn-keeper's sister and then even by luck. By next morning, he has won all the soldiers' wages. In the next minutes the inn is entered by the Austrian soldiers looking for the major and soon after by the Hungarian heroes. Árvay and his people win the battle, and saying good-bye to Jozefa, they leave to continue their freedom-fight against the Austrian forces of occupation. (texte officiel du distributeur)
