Coup de foudre garanti

Rachael Leigh Cook ? Vraiment ? Encore un de ces chocs que je subis avec des acteurs ou actrices que je n'ai pas vus depuis longtemps. Ça m'est d'ailleurs arrivé récemment dans la vie privée. Pendant toute la durée du film, je me suis demandé si c'était bien l'actrice dont le doux minois était encore gravé dans ma mémoire jusqu'à ce jour. Eh oui, c'est bien elle ! Mais il faut dire que la dernière fois, elle devait avoir environ dix-huit ans… Et le film, dans tout ça ? Une connerie américaine typique pathétique et prévisible à souhait, dans laquelle même Heather Graham s'embourbe. Un des films les plus faibles sur Netflix. (04/09/2020)

Another romance film that I felt never developed into anything. The plot is fine, it looked like some good (and unpretentious) entertainment. The chemistry between the actors grows to a point where they kill it in the stupidest way. And so we find out that the smart lawyer isn't actually that smart, and that her client has to be told to open his eyes by the least vocal person in order to realize the meaning of life and get on with that mind-numbingly boring ending.
