anglais I found myself surprisingly entertained by this film. While it may not be groundbreaking, it managed to keep a smile on my face throughout. Judging by other people's reviews, it just seems a bit underrated. The standout element for me was definitely the cast. Not just the main actors, but Aimee-Ffion Edwards as Edith was perfect. I only wish she had more screen time. The retro vibe was successfully executed with vibrant colors that I found appealing, along with some witty dialogue that I enjoyed. And let's not forget Isla Fisher, perfectly captured by this line: "I'm going to keep things short and sweet, just like my wife." / Lesson learned: Is it considered cheating when a man does it with his wife? A bit of heavy philosophy to ponder. ()
