Quand Albert arrive en ville, c'est pour réaliser son rêve: monter sa propre compagnie de taxis. Il engage alors des employés travaillant déjà au service du tyrannique Harold, et essaye de les motiver à faire quelque chose par eux-même. Cab also speaks in particular to the amazing multi(sub)cultural nature of the low-rise boiler rooms in big American cities in the 70s and 80s, making for a beautiful picture of the brokenness and mutual respect of the street people in contrast to the stodgy small-towners and white people who are constantly being made an example of.
