anglais B-rated horror based on a little-known literary source by B. Stoker, written in the style of a classic gothic novel. Director Russel modernized it, adapted it, and especially imbued it with an erotic charge. Thanks to skillful direction, the film is watchable, although the screenplay is confusing and factually silly. Attractive cast, where the film requires not so much great acting performances as physical attractiveness. Overall impression: 50%. ()
