Opening episodes are often weaker, but this one defied expectations. From start to finish, I was thoroughly engrossed and it nearly earned a five-star rating from me. Admittedly, objectivity may be out the window here, especially with the delightful retro atmosphere that I adore so much. Plus, the casting of Adrian Ugarte in the main role is simply fantastic. The English dubbing is unfortunately a complete disaster, but this annoyance doesn't affect my rating. 4*+
