Solar Opposites est l’histoire d’une famille d'extraterrestres composée de Korvo, Terry et de leurs enfants réplicants Yumyulack et Jesse de la planète Shlorp. Leur vaisseau s’écrase sur Terre et tous doivent trouver refuge en Amérique profonde. Difficile pour eux de s’accorder sur le fait qu’il s’agisse d’une expérience horrible ou géniale. (Canal+)

Season 1 (2020) (S01)
A pure geyser of ideas. A bit weaker than Rick and Morty, but with a lot of potential in the stories on the wall. The plot twists and narrative turns are mostly brilliant. At times it rips off Rick's stories pretty blatantly, but the fact that we're mostly confined to a slowly dying planet Earth just keeps it grounded. Roiland is amazing again.

Season 2 (2021) (S02)
The plot thickens, especially in the stories from The Wall, which are always the highlight of the series. Crazy ideas, bloody resolutions and buckets of black humour. The second season doesn’t pull many punches. Pupa waiting for Robocop is the GIF if the year!

Season 4 (2023) (S04)
I don’t mind the change in the voices! I was honestly worried about the arrival of Dan Stevens, but now I can't imagine Korvo not speaking with a British accent. In addition to the bombastic story from The Wall, we pick up the intergalactic adventure in Silver Cops, which devolves into Fast and Furious. The alien adventures are great, stronger episodes alternate with weaker ones. Pupa is a little overlooked. Coming of age, corporate interludes, turning into humans... good series.
