The Nixon Doctrine called for the bolstering of the Army of the Republic of Vietnam in order for them to take over the defense of South Vietnam. However, their efforts eventually prove to be in vain, leading to the evacuation of the US and South Vietnamese forces in the Fall of Saigon. (Prime Video)
