Animator Mike Judge scored a veritable pop-culture phenomenon with his 1990s MTV cartoon series BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD. Centered on the moronic misadventures of the two heavy-metal teens, the series definitively captured the decade's cultural zeitgeist with its slacker protagonists' couch-potato antics and so-dumb-they're-clever observations on the strip-mall-strewn landscape of late-20th-century America.
