The Executioner (2016) (S01)

anglais The first season of Slasher gets off to a great start, although it gradually runs out of steam and is quite predictable. It opts for the typical development of storylines and at the same time tries to be unnecessarily convoluted. It also spends too much time on episodic stories, for example, one with a police chief which probably would not have been so messed up if he were not in it. Still, it leaves me wanting to watch more because it could still perhaps be surprising or at the very least feature more brilliantly executed murders. ()

Guilty Party (2017) (S02)

anglais The second season of Slasher is not much worse than the first season, although I found it to be a bit too drawn out. Somehow, I did not really care who the killer was anymore. However, I have to admit it was still great to see some incredibly nasty yet perfect effects. Despite that, I felt like it was a disappointing and overly long slasher movie. ()

Solstice (2019) (S03)

anglais The third season of Slasher shows that it is still valid and can be good and engaging, which can only be a good thing. I like TV shows like this, even if they will not set the world on fire. However, the show is still above average. If you want a hardcore intricate murder mystery crime drama, you will be happy with all three seasons of this Canadian television series. ()
