Capture The Flag is inspired by the 1960s space race and sees a ruthless billionaire bent on exploiting the source of Helium 3, the clean energy of the future. His plan involves rewriting history to excise the feats of the Apollo XI astronauts and the Moon landing. Enter headstrong 12-year-old surfer, Mike Goldwing, who along with his friends, a small lizard with delusions of Godzilla-like grandeur, and his grandfather, travels to the Moon to thwart evil. anglais So it is definitely obvious that the people from Paramount put money into this particular animated movie, and I would not be surprised if the US government poured money into it too, because I do not think anyone would produce such a celebration of the American space program for free. Otherwise, this is an average, maybe slightly above-average movie in all respects, with pretty decent animation, a good soundtrack, an average narrative, and a classic message about the importance of family. It might be quite enjoyable for kids because it is set in space, there is a likable iguana and some relatively interesting characters. However, I found it to be only a bit better than average. 5.5/10. ()

anglais In terms of plot, it's a pretty ordinary film, but after a long time, I see that there is a European studio here that had the potential to create a good animation. Yes, Paramount at the beginning is a bit surprising, but I will consider it only as a distributor, as it is presented on the internet. Fantastic animation, which is surprising for Europe, but it still needs an interesting and entertaining screenplay to be perfected. ()
