Centaur no najami

I have seen monster girl themes elaborated into different forms, from crazy and unacceptable eroticism with animals (and apparently there is even monster girl hentai) to quite good comedies, where they used the characters' potential as monsters for various highly amusing situations. Thanks to these comedies, I have not given up on the subject matter yet, and I would still give a chance to a show where the main female protagonist is a centaur girl (because sometimes it turns out that a white tiger could be really likable in the main role). This seemed like just another perverted show during the first minute, although in the end, it is not like that at all. A Centaur's Life will most likely be seriously meant slice of life anime series featuring a monster girl. In other words, cute little monsters/animal girls will do normal things, they will do cute things, and in a form appropriate to being monsters/animal girls. However, the problem is that the first episode was not enough to convince me that this could be amusing. I did not laugh even once because there was nothing to laugh about. The other problem is that I did not even find it cute, more like weird. In my view, the most interesting idea presented in the whole first episode was the elaboration of Darwin's theory about the evolution of species ad absurdum. I am supposed to ponder whether four legs are genetically preferable to two. So I am sorry, but I am not interested in this. Dropped after the first episode. (09/07/2017)
