I simply don't find Barbra Streisand to be such a great actress; she often annoys me in most movies. This is also the case in Hello, Dolly!, where there are other elements that managed to captivate me, including great choreography, and great direction by Gene Kelly. However, the storyline wasn't as compelling to me.
