Alfalfa, "King of the Crooners," decides to give up on swing music to sing opera and walks out on the musical troupe he's performing in. The show's manager jokingly has Alfalfa sign a singing contract that won't be good for twenty years. Alfalfa then falls asleep, dreaming of the fame and glory of his Broadway future.
