Fox and the Whale captivates mainly with its fascinating visuals, in which the most disturbing element is the psedo-cubist appearance of the fox. Quite possibly it was meant to be a kind of breaking out of the plot and distancing itself from the other animals – who knows – but I found it distracting. The story itself, despite its poetic nature and the theme of the final quest, unfortunately didn't appeal to me that much. ()
