The Hollow Child

Mal, who has had a rough life. His wife passed away at a young age, his only son, Paul, has grown into a felon, and Mal shows early signs of Alzheimer’s. The passing of Mal’s wife caused him to mentally check out and disconnect with his son. Years have passed and now Mal lives a lonely life as a janitor, Paul has made poor decisions and has been sentenced to death for a murder he committed. Mal receives a letter from the government confirming that, after many appeals, Paul is scheduled for execution. Mal goes to reconnect with his son, hoping for some closure to their broken relationship and perhaps to find another way out of this ordeal. Will Paul forgive him and can Mal forgive himself?
