GLOW - Série 1

After watching the first season, I must admit that I had an unexpectedly good time. Alison Brie played the somewhat desperate Ruth brilliantly. With Jenji Kohan, I automatically expect a comedy mixed with drama, and this show was no exception. All the negatives were outweighed by the excellent atmosphere. The filmmakers managed to take me back to the days when I was learning Russian in primary school, when everything was accompanied by the sound of electric drums, and when, as Ruth (or Zoya) said, you could have a great chat while standing in line for just about anything.
