Alex Brubeck, the American producer, comes to Hungary, in order to film Tamás's script, Sin City. Tamás alarms his brothers: according to his promise to Brubeck he must be able to present 50 million. The poetic-minded, dreamy András does not, but the successful manager economist Ákos does help raising the amount. The money comes together. To all appearance, Alex falls in love with Eszter, Tamás's girlfriend. Unexpectedly he turns out to be Hungarian and to have duped Eszter. Meanwhile András kids his brothers in a cruel way. From the newspaper they learn that Brubeck is an international swindler, and he has run away with Ákos's girlfriend and the 50 million. When all seems lost, András's permanent, absurd-seeming five numbers are drawn in the lottery. (Budapest Film)
