A couple of people locked in a bar, two dead bodies in front of it and a lot of paranoia. And a lot of dark humor. Probably they could've squeezed more out of it, but the scene with one of the protagonists squeezing into the sewer alone will keep it in my memory for a while. ()

anglais Alex de La Iglesia from Spain comes again with an interesting project. His peak work (The Last Circus) remains unsurpassed, but The Bar, his latest film is better than his previous Witching and Bitching. The whole film takes place more or less in one place, a bar, where a group of strangers clash (I love this in movies!¨). Anyone who steps out of the bar is mercilessly shot in the head, the question is why. I will not give you the answer, you will find out only in the film. Anyway, it's nicely shot, Blanca Suarez spends more than half of the film in a bra and garter, there is some humour and the finale is pleasantly suspenseful, so I'm satisfied, I had a good time. 75% ()
